Implement
Fieldking FKSS-1 Subsoiler Price October 2026
The Fieldking FKSS-1 is a single-tine subsoiler for a farm that has identified a restrictive layer below its normal cultivation depth. Its job is a narrow deep pass, not preparing a whole seedbed. Fieldking lists 40–55 HP tractor power and Category II linkage. Whether a particular tractor can pull it at the required depth still depends on soil condition, traction and an approved hitch setup.
Read the depth and width correctly
The current manufacturer table specifies a maximum depth of 550 mm, a 70 mm tillage width and a 660 mm overall width. The narrow tine measurement is not a recommended distance between passes or the total underground shattering width. Those depend on the soil and the actual result. A tractor that can lift the implement has not thereby demonstrated enough pull to loosen a hard layer.
The present product table gives approximately 85 kg without a crumbler, whereas the domestic brochure gives 67 kg. This page uses the current table; ask the dealer to confirm the supplied build and mass. The FKSS-1 column lists no crumbler. Features shown for larger members of the range, including the five-arm shear-bolt arrangement, should not be assumed on this single-tine machine.
Make the demonstration answer a field question
Mark a problem area and a nearby comparison area before the contractor arrives. Establish the layer depth with local agronomic help. After a trial pass, stop and secure the tractor before inspecting the soil profile: the useful result is fractured soil through the restriction, not merely a clean slot at the surface. If the lower soil is wet and smearing, a deeper setting is not the remedy.
This is not a substitute for the surface finishing discussed in our rotavator and cultivator guide. Budget separately for any seedbed work that remains. Before buying, obtain the replacement point specification, fastening instructions and local parts availability rather than assuming all Fieldking subsoiler points interchange.
Indian price evidence
Checked 14 October 2026: TractorKarvan lists an indicative starting price of ₹11,935, while Tractor Junction lists ₹35,000 in its FKSS-1 column. These are conflicting India-wide portal references, not a defensible price range for one confirmed build. Neither establishes a district-specific delivered price or clear tax basis. Obtain a written quote identifying the model, mass, attachments, tax and freight; do not treat either amount as a confirmed ex-showroom or on-road offer.
