VST 939 DI Price October 2026

The current VST India 939 DI is in the 39 HP category, with a three-cylinder 1642 cc engine. VST’s linked sheet covers both 2WD and 4WD versions alongside the smaller 932 DI. This record explains the current 939 family; it does not copy the older 36 HP i-TRAC specification or treat the adjacent 932 column as interchangeable.

Why the gearbox deserves its own comparison

The manufacturer specifies a fully synchromesh gearbox with 9 forward and 3 reverse gears, side shift and a double clutch. That is a different transmission description from the sliding-mesh compact models. It is still necessary to follow the operator manual: synchromesh does not mean clutch-free shifting or an automatic direction change.

For repeated headland work, ask for a demonstration of the forward-to-reverse sequence and the gear used with your attachment. Compare operator control and the required stopping procedure under the same task. A higher road-speed entry does not prove greater finished area per hour or safe transport speed with a loaded combination.

Leave the inconsistent PTO horsepower unresolved

The linked brochure’s 939 PTO line pairs 29.90 HP with 21.51 kW. Those units do not agree under the usual conversion. We therefore leave PTO horsepower unfilled rather than silently choosing one figure. Obtain a corrected manufacturer specification or the exact unit’s documented output before sizing a PTO-driven implement.

The same sheet identifies independent and reverse PTO functions. Confirm the selected drive mode, shaft speed, engine-speed relationship and implement approval during handover. Compact dimensions do not remove mounting limits

The shared hydraulic table lists automatic draft and depth control, Category I and II linkage, and 1050 kg lift. Establish the actual pin arrangement, loaded implement mass and centre of gravity with the supplier. Do not substitute a higher figure from a marketplace listing when agreeing the attachment.

The 939 column gives 2540 mm length and a 1520 mm wheelbase. It also shows multiple rear-width and tyre entries across the drive configurations. Measure the supplied front and rear envelope rather than combining the narrowest rear setting with a different front axle. Indian price reference applies to the 4WD listing

On 13 October 2026, TractorGuru’s 39 HP 939 DI 4WD page advertised ₹6,45,780–7,08,760 ex-showroom for India, without a named state. This is a provisional independent reference for that drive version, not a 2WD quote. Its lift and PTO figures differ from the linked manufacturer sheet, so ask the dealer to price the exact documented package. Keep applicable on-road charges separate; the range does not establish stock, warranty terms or included implements.
