ACE DI 550 NG 2WD Price October 2026
The ACE DI 550 NG 2WD combines a 50 HP rating with a 3065 cc, three-cylinder engine. The Indian brochure specifies 2100 rpm rated engine speed. Its useful comparison with the DI 450 NG is not simply five more horsepower: buyers should compare the supplied tyres, steering and hydraulic equipment on the two written quotations.
Read the hydraulic evidence carefully
The brochure gives 1800 kg lift. ACE's quick product page also mentions an optional 1200 kg arrangement. This page records the brochure's 1800 kg package and flags that variation rather than suggesting every delivered machine is identical. Confirm the actual lift specification on the order, then check the loaded implement, its overhang and required ballast. A hydraulic rating is not a trailer load limit.
Verify clutch and steering before a PTO demonstration
The brochure describes a 280 mm dry dual clutch, with single clutch optional. It lists power steering with a mechanical alternative. Ask the intended operator to try the delivered controls: an attractive price on another clutch or steering package is not a like-for-like saving. The published PTO connection is 540 rpm, 6 splines, with a 1000 rpm, 21-spline option. Confirm the selected version with the implement supplier.
Tyres affect the physical comparison
ACE lists 7.50 x 16 front and 14.9 x 28 rear tyres, with alternatives in the brochure. The nominal width is 1830 mm and the wheelbase 1960 mm. Measure the final arrangement and attached implement for the farm gate and headland; do not assume that changing tyres preserves every quoted dimension. The stated 2010 kg weight is with oil and should not be substituted for an approved towing figure.
Where the purchase needs more evidence
The 8-forward, 2-reverse gearbox is a specification, not a promise that one ratio will match every seeding or cultivation job. Arrange a suitable dealer demonstration of the intended attachment and ask for its power, speed and hydraulic requirements. Compare the quote with the existing DI 350 NG page, then obtain current manufacturer specifications for both machines before choosing. Service access and written equipment details matter more than unverified claims of low fuel consumption.
Indicative price in India
TractorKarvan, checked on 7 October 2026, lists ₹6.16–6.53 lakh ex-showroom for this named drive version. This is an indicative India-wide listing, not a district-specific on-road quotation or a stock confirmation. Ask for the selected clutch, tyres, hydraulics and accessories to be itemised, with applicable registration, insurance and delivery charges shown separately.
