Verify the PTO option, not just the badge

The partial constant-mesh transmission provides 8 forward and 2 reverse gears. The brochure lists a six-spline 540-rpm PTO and marks multi-speed reverse PTO as optional. Have that option identified on the quotation and demonstrated under the manual’s procedure. A reverse facility is not permission to reverse any attachment or clear a blockage with machinery running.

Keep the base tractor and Plus package separate

Kartar’s brochure identifies an adjustable heavy-duty front axle and battery cut-off switch under the Plus equipment panel. Obtain a written equipment list rather than treating the shared brochure as a promise that every feature is fitted. The published base wheel-and-tyre combination is also worth recording: the brochure shows a different front-wheel setup for the four-wheel-drive version.

The 2WD brochure column gives 2380 kg including accessories and a 2170 mm wheelbase. Category II ADDC lift is rated at 1800 kgf. Before selecting a mounted seed drill or cultivator, check the loaded implement and approved ballast arrangement. The mass in the next brochure column belongs to 4WD and should not be used to estimate this tractor’s transport load.

Resolve the speed-sheet difference

The website and brochure publish different travel-speed ranges. Rather than combining them, request the gear-speed chart for the actual tyres and gearbox being delivered. A demonstration at your required working speed is more useful than choosing the larger advertised road-speed number.
