Kartar GlobeTrac 5936 2WD Price October 2026
The Kartar GlobeTrac 5936 2WD combines a 4160 cc, 4-cylinder Kirloskar engine with a Carraro synchro-shuttle transmission. The manufacturer’s group page identifies it as 55 HP category. Some Indian portals use different horsepower labels, so this review follows that primary-source category and keeps it separate from measured PTO power.
Match the larger tractor to a real workload
The engine is listed at 2200 rpm with 232 Nm maximum torque. The gearbox has 12 forward and 12 reverse ratios. These specifications justify examining the machine for repeated cultivation and mixed PTO duties, but they do not establish the size of rotavator, trailer payload or daily acreage it can handle. Have the intended implement assessed as a complete package.
The brochure gives Category II ADDC hydraulics with a 2200 kgf lift rating and Lift-o-Matic control. A higher hitch rating is useful only when the attachment geometry, axle loading and approved ballast also work. Do not turn the lift number into a permitted trailer load, or use the engine’s torque figure as a substitute for an implement power requirement.
Read the drive columns separately
For 2WD the brochure lists 2670 kg including accessories, a 2290 mm wheelbase and a 60-litre tank. The 4WD column has a different mass and front-tyre size. Confirm the rear-drive configuration on the order and the delivered identification plate, especially when a dealer uses a photograph from the other version. Check entry routes with the actual attachment, rather than assuming the larger tractor fits where an older one did.
PTO and clutch wording need a demonstration
The brochure lists 540 and 540E with ground-speed PTO. Its clutch line says independent, while the product page describes a dry double clutch and independent PTO. Ask the dealer to identify the actual controls and stopping sequence; do not translate these labels into an assumed clutchless shuttle. Ground-speed PTO is not an interchangeable operating mode for every rotating attachment.
Use our PTO compatibility guide to prepare questions, then obtain the machine-specific manual and local service arrangement. A brochure’s service-interval headline does not tell you which inspection, lubrication or filter task is due first.
Indian price evidence is not yet consistent
Checked 15 October 2026: TractorKarvan’s rear-drive page quotes ₹11,25,000–₹11,55,000 ex-showroom, but the portal’s brand list associates that range with the four-wheel-drive version. The listed horsepower also differs from the manufacturer’s group page. This is insufficient to present a dependable estimate for the covered configuration. Obtain a dated, state-specific quote naming the exact drive and build; keep the ex-showroom amount separate from delivered/on-road charges.
The manufacturer group specification supports the engine-power category used here. Confirm the rating and options for the actual tractor rather than borrowing figures from similarly named export machines.
