The Preet 5049 Yudhveer is the manufacturer’s 50 HP-category, three-cylinder 2WD model with side-shift controls. Its 3066 cc naturally aspirated engine is rated at 2200 rpm. The current page identifies a 2000 kg hydraulic lift and 67-litre fuel tank. These are useful purchasing facts, but they do not establish an acres-per-hour result or a fuel-saving percentage.

Read the gearbox description all the way through

PREET specifies 8 forward and 2 reverse gears, sliding mesh and an epicyclic reduction unit for high-low range. A high-low range is not evidence of a powershift. Ask the dealer to show how the required working speed is selected under the operator manual’s procedure. When comparing another 8+2 tractor, check whether the gear mechanism and controls are actually equivalent.

Do not order a PTO option by implication

The headline says 540/1000 rpm, but the detailed table marks the dual-speed arrangement as optional. Record the required shaft speed, connection and engagement equipment on the quotation, and have the supplier confirm the actual package. Steering hydraulics are not an implement remote

A double-acting cylinder appears in the power-steering description. It does not prove the tractor includes a double-acting external hydraulic outlet for a tipping or folding implement. The lift system is separately described as two-lever ADDC with Category I and II linkage. If your attachment requires an external circuit, ask for its valve, connection and function to be demonstrated as a separate requirement.

Allow for the delivered machine’s envelope

The listed wheelbase is 2100 mm, overall width 1825 mm and ground clearance 435 mm; reference weight is 1980 kg. Check gates, storage space and the attached implement’s overhang together. The 2000 kg lift label cannot establish a permitted trolley payload, nor does tractor weight prove braking suitability for a particular road load.

Compare the limiting job rather than the larger badge

For a cultivation-and-PTO workload, build the comparison around approved implement demand, suitable working speed, hitch compatibility and local support. The current 955 Super shares a listed 2000 kg lift, so a higher engine category should not be assumed to buy extra hydraulic capacity. Obtain the missing verified PTO output before making a power-driven implement choice.
