Kubota L4508 4WD Price October 2026
Kubota L4508 is a four-cylinder 4WD tractor in the Indian range's 45 HP category. Its model page lists 8F + 4R gearing, a single clutch, a 42-litre fuel tank and 1,415 kg machine weight. For a buyer stepping up from a smaller L-series tractor, the useful question is which complete implement combination it enables on the actual farm.
What to check in a larger implement package
The published hydraulic lift figure is 1,300 kg. Before ordering a mounted machine, have the supplier confirm the rating's measurement point and the implement's loaded centre of gravity. Lifting a stationary attachment is not the same as controlling it over field access tracks. Ask for the approved ballast, hitch setup and transport position in writing.
Kubota lists standard 540 PTO speed. Obtain the implement's required PTO power and operating instructions separately; 45 engine-category HP does not establish power delivered at the shaft. For soil preparation, use the proposed implement and intended working depth in a dealer demonstration. Record soil moisture and tyre specification so that you can understand what the demonstration actually proved.
Resolve the tyre specification before comparing offers
The official product page is internally inconsistent: the headline specification shows a 12.4 x 24 rear tyre, while the detailed section lists 13.6 x 26. Consequently this card does not assign a single rear-tyre size. Have the dealer state the factory configuration and any approved alternatives for the unit being sold. Tyres affect the measured machine envelope, so recheck gate and shed access on that configuration instead of borrowing dimensions from another listing.
Compare by the job you need done
The smaller L3408 deserves consideration when its approved implement package already meets the workload. Also compare the existing Kubota MU4501 2WD if your shortlist spans general farm tractors. These are different configurations: compare traction needs, implement compatibility and local support rather than assuming all tractors near 45 HP are equivalent.
The 42-litre tank states capacity, not how many working hours you will obtain. Ask for service access to be shown and check the availability of consumables before the season. Request an itemised rupee quotation separating ex-showroom price, implements and the applicable costs leading to an on-road total. No current price, fuel saving or tested productivity is asserted here.
