The New Holland SIMBA 30 is a compact tractor with a 29 HP, three-cylinder 1318 cc engine rated at 2800 engine rpm. Its buying decision depends on the route through your crop and the complete attachment, not just a small horsepower label. The Indian brochure includes a narrow-track arrangement that must be distinguished from the regular wheel package.

Track width is not overall width

The product page advertises a 28-inch track option. That is not the tractor's outside width. The brochure gives minimum overall widths of 1040 mm and 930 mm for the narrow-track arrangement. Confirm which wheels and track setting the dealer supplies, then measure the widest point with the implement attached. Our orchard-width guide helps check trunks, irrigation equipment, gateways and headlands separately.

The smaller package still needs a load check

The brochure lists 920 kg tractor weight, a 1490 mm wheelbase and 750 kg hydraulic lift with automatic depth and draft control. A loaded sprayer is not equivalent to the same mass positioned at the linkage rating point. Ask for approval of the attachment, its loaded configuration and ballast; do not treat the hydraulic number as a blanket carrying allowance.

Confirm PTO settings without copying an illustration

The documented PTO speeds are 540 and 1000 rpm, with a single diaphragm clutch and 9-forward, 3-reverse side-shift transmission. The brochure shows example gear and engine-speed combinations for several tasks but explicitly says these can change with soil and implement size. Obtain the correct settings for your own implement rather than copying an illustrated gear into every field.

Compare against another compact tractor using the same worksheet

The ACE VEER 3000 card offers a useful second compact configuration to investigate, not an automatic substitute. Compare delivered overall width, wheel settings, PTO connection, loaded attachment and service access. The SIMBA's power steering and oil-immersed disc brakes are equipment facts, not a guarantee of safe use on any slope. Have the intended operator receive model-specific instruction and arrange a suitable demonstration before choosing.

Indicative India price

TractorKarvan, checked on 8 October 2026, lists a starting price of ₹5,31,000 ex-showroom for this named model and drive version. This is an indicative India-wide listing, not a district-specific on-road quote or stock confirmation. Match the steering, transmission, tyre and hydraulic options on a written quotation; ask for applicable registration, insurance, delivery and accessories separately.

Our verdict: New Holland SIMBA 30 4WD

Verdict by the Aglist editorial desk

Measure the SIMBA 30 in the quoted wheel configuration with the intended attachment. The narrow-track option can change access, but PTO and loaded-implement checks remain separate.
